New winery set up by a grape-grower with the dream of making a Japanese Barolo. It is not everyday you find a Japanese Nebbiolo, and the promising sparkling Koshu is also most enjoyable. Not set up for tastings yet but call ahead and pop round to pick up a bottle. Perched high on the hillside in the north of the valley, it’s worth a visit for the view alone.
