Perhaps the most modern, Western-style winery in the valley, featuring a long tasting bar and glass walls allowing you to see the gleaming fermentation tanks. Good location if you are on a walking tour of Katsunuma, and lovely setting by the Hikawa river surrounded by vineyards old and new - some in the owner’s family for four generations, and some added when the winery opened in 2017.

The owner - who runs a local semiconductor business - brings technological prowess and attention to detail to his wines, which are made exclusively from local Japanese grape varieties Koshu (still and sparkling whites) and Bailey A (reds).

Opening hours: 10:00 - 12:00, 13:00 - 16:00 (Closed Tuesdays April to November, and also Wednesdays December to March, as well as year-end/New Year)
